PEOPLE AND THE CITY


Cities are always in the process of change, this change is enacting as rapidly historic transformation of human social roots. This kind of transformation, evolution reflects by people either engaged intellectually can be marked distinguishing character of city or can be replace and destroy its parts and actual character. From City to Urban identity is a crucial matrix of cultural, social or political environment evolved interactively over a period of time. The intervention of city at the cost of over-shadowing the local culture and built form might come up as disastrous manner. This paper concentrates on changing equation between divided cities and discusses how cities changed and react with respect to social impact and spatial planning. The dilemma of historical footprint to contemporary planning specifically in the case of historic cities of Amritsar and Lahore, and proposes certain policies for regenerate, re-establishing rich cultural identity amalgamate with path of post modernism.

ECO-ARCHITECTURE ON HARMONISATION BETWEEN ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE,DESIGN WITH NATURE


The human nature shows itself that wants progression at every cost but this nature is being followed the path of destruction whereas there will be no scope of regression.
In context of architecture, urbanized world this kind of progression over a period of time is responsible for   “no space for nature”.
This cause is resulting sprawl movement in and around the core of development.
It concentrates on different stages, different needs, their responses to set of parameters, adopt legible scripts to resound the designing methods in architectural development follows by past and present issues in case of ignorance in different sectors, lack of understanding within design, design process, over-natural aesthetics trap in design to represent as skull.
By means of architecture, there is need to choose advancements but without any consequences and also to create solutions in architecture design process, to reshaping the learning process, generate cost effective manuals with respect to sustainable design.
